BECKY’S ROAD ADVENTURES

BECKY'S ROAD ADVENTURES

At Road Adventures, nothing makes us happier than seeing our renters photos from their travels! We love seeing their journey, sights, and experiences. Becky Shaw was a recent Road Adventures traveler and she shared many photos from her experiences. So please check out their adventures and find inspiration for your next getaway!

All on the same day, we did Crazy Horse, Laughing Waters Restaurant & Tatonkan Stew, YUM! The Indiana Fry bread was the best!

Leaving Rapid City area and on to Devil’s Tower, a sacred Native American location. My niece & I walked the trail 1.2 miles and they close at 5pm.

St Ignatius MT & the Mission Church Undergoing restoration to original design, prior to a stop at my friend’s overnight.

Near Rapid City we visited Mt Rushmore… still wows me even though I’ve been there 4 times. Get Abe Lincoln’s Apple Pie at the food truck, it goes fast!

Our stop at Circus World!

2 days in Shipshewana, IN!
We visited Amish country where we enjoyed a buggy ride, a threshers meal with an Amish family, and a roadside stand with morel mushrooms!

We enjoyed High Tea at the Prince of Wales Hotel, Canadian style with terrific Earl Grey cookies. Then we drove to the waterfall in Waterton, which was lovely!

West Glacier KOA and Red Bus tour of Going to the Sun Rd. A must do! And then Loretta played the piano at Many Glacier Hotel!

Now South to Yellowstone, Old Faithful and the dufus in the rear view mirror getting close to the Bison… these are not pets people! 🙂

Yellowstone’s Roosevelt’s Arch. Check out the message on the arch.
Thank you Teddy for our enjoyment and Pleasure.

Don’t miss Soiux Falls, SD! Make sure you drive through the park on the way to Michelle, SD.

Before Yellowstone we drove through the SE corner of Idaho, near Soda Springs, along part of the Oregon Trail!

South from Yellowstone to Jackson Hole’s Virginian RV camp and a ride to Rendezvous Peak w/a view of Grand Teton 46° upon arrival, 52° after.

And lastly an Elk getting a drink at Trailer Village, Grand Canyon. I recommend staying at Mather campground, it’s closer to the showers.

We want to send out a special thank you to Becky for taking the time to share so many wonderful photographs, tips, and information from her adventure. It was a pleasure to be able to work with her, her friend, and her niece!

We hope you’ve enjoyed this journey through this documented adventure! Please visit our rentals page and begin planning your own travels. We’d love to see where you’ll go!
