Gulfstream Conquest RV Adventure
Becca and Carl rented our Gulfstream Conquest for an RV adventure. They drove over 1900 miles, ran 61 miles in 7 different cities and witnessed all five of the Great Lakes. Their trip began at Mohican Adventures and continued into Canada, where they found a great running trail through the city of Toronto, and visited Whitefish Bay in Ontario. They then proceeded to Michigan, stopping inTraverse City and visiting the many sand dunes, including the Sleeping Bear Dunes and Silver Lake Sand Dunes.
Mohican Adventures- Where It All Began
The couple decided to start their RV adventure at Mohican Adventures in Loudonville, Ohio. Since they were traveling from Columbus, Ohio (which is the location of Road Adventures), Mohican Adventures seemed like a great place to begin their journey. Canada
Their RV adventure continued north into Canada. They visited Toronto for a beautiful, long run through the city on an awesome trail they found. They Toronto is the capital of the province Ontario, and is a major Canadian city along Lake Ontario’s northwest shore. Next, they visited the beautiful White Fish Bay on the southern shore of Lake Superior, between Michigan and Ontario. White Fish Bay is full of wilderness, so it offers a true Canadian wilderness experience.
Off To The Dunes
The couple continued their RV adventure into Pure Michigan to explore the sand dunes that awaited them. They started the day off in Traverse City and ended it at Sleeping Bear Dunes, which was full of nature preserves. There, they hiked 3.5 miles across the sandy dunes and finished the day with a 5-mile trail run. Their next stop was the Silver Lake Sand Dunes , which is mostly known for dune buggies. They spent the day there a little slower by napping on the beaches. Their trip continued by visiting a place in Michigan where Becca spent many summers with family. While there, they also ran 4 miles barefoot on the pristine beach. Their unique experience was a trip that both say they will never forget. We’re thankful that they were willing to share their experiences with us.
