A Landmark River & Brand New National Park
The latest to join the rankings of National Park status since the December, 2020 Covid stimulus bill, the landmark river flowing through the gorge more than earns the title. This river and park includes great opportunities for kayaking, fishing, hiking, and soaking up the sounds of the forest all around you.
White Water Rafting
Have you ever been white water rafting? Even if you have, you’ve probably not experienced it quite like the offerings at New River Gorge! There are multiple starting/ending points to enjoy the rapids and feel the spray on your face and the heart-pounding adventure. We recommend checking out the Upper Gauley River and Lower Gauley River white-water rafting adventures!
Rock Climbing
Strap in and get ready for an experience you’ll not ever forget! Climbing, Rapelling, all down or up the many cliffs and natural rock walls across the area. While we definitely recommend you go out and climb the Gorge, we do not recommend doing this without trained personnel and the safety gear required. Safety first. Adventure second.
