Pipestem Resort State Park is West Virginia’s premier family adventure resort. Pipestem Peaks
Experience the thrill of soaring through the treetops of West Virginia and beholding panoramic views of flourishing forest and river below on the Pipestem Peaks Zipline Tour.
Adventure awaits, with the longest zip measuring up to 1600 feet and speeds up to 50 mph, the Pipestem Peaks Zipline Tour at Pipestem Resort State Park offers nine zips, a cable bridge and a belay to satisfy the adventure seeker and nature lover in all. Strap in and zoom then return to the beginning via aerial tram and witness a complete view of the Bluestone River Gorge.

Visit the historical Wheeling Park for seasonal fun for the entire family, featuring our Olympic-sized swimming pool, indoor & outdoor tennis courts, Bloch Memorial Golf Course, Good Lake pedal boats & mini golf, and the J.B. Chambers Memorial Ice Skating Rink! Take advantage of our seasonal all-day access pass Activity Bands to enjoy a handful of your favorite activities.
Museums and Historic Sites
Downtown Hinton is rich with coal and train history. There’s a railroad museum, veterans’ museum, antique theatre, and dozens of intriguing boutiques and antique shops. There’s also Bramwell, a Victorian town with lots of character. At one time, more millionaires lived here than anywhere else in America. Numerous coal baron mansions are still standing. During Christmas and spring, several of them open for tours, too.

Come on out and enjoy our beautifully renovated dining room and taste our new menu items. Enjoy items such as lobster and escargot as you relax in our farmhouse setting overlooking 40 acres of gorgeous rolling West Virginia landscape. Bring the whole family, we have a great kids menu for the little ones!
