Hiking
Adventuring is right around the corner with hundreds of miles of trails available on the National Lakeshore. There’s a wide variety of hiking trails ready for short or long hikes, including trips that could take multiple days. Check with the Visitor’s Center for current trail conditions, and also be aware that bicycles are prohibited on the trails. Pets, on the other hand, are permitted but require a leash no longer than 6 feet.
