Charleston Morning History Walk
Led by Charleston’s most experienced certified guides, these two-hour walking tours of the Old & Historic District provide the perfect background for the afternoon or evening house and garden tours. Private sites and interiors are not included on these tours.
Palmetto Islands County Park
This 943-acre park is built in a tropical setting, with bicycle paths, boardwalks, and picnic sites with grills located throughout the park for your enjoyment.
It also comes complete with an off-leash dog park, a 50-foot observation tower with play area, bicycle and pedal boat rentals, and a tidal creek fishing* and crabbing dock!
Dunes West Golf Club
Dunes West Golf Club is almost as deeply rooted in history as the game itself. There’s no room for an extended history lesson here, but consider this. The land that is today Dunes West was part of a 1696 land grant and from 1712-1827, was owned by the same Vanderhorst family that once owned most all of Kiawah Island.
The course stretches throughout the vast property, cutting broad swaths through once-dense forests to make its way to coastal tidelands and saltwater creeks on both sides of the property – at the fifth hole and again at the 18th, where Toomer Creek laps against the left side of the putting surface.
Salty Dog Cafe
For over 30 years, the Salty Dog Cafe has provided Hilton Head Island and South Beach Marina with a legendary, unparalleled waterfront dining experience. Salty Dog brings the same lowcountry magic to Bohicket Marina Market on Seabrook Island.
The beauty of Seabrook Island pairs perfectly with our signature Salty Dog hospitality. Breathtaking waterfront dining, unbelievable sunset views, live music and the freshest seafood, salads, steaks, pasta and daily chef specials combine for an island experience like no other!
