NIAGARA FALLS

Just five hours from Columbus, Ohio and home to one of the most iconic images in America, Niagara Falls, New York, is a destination worth discovering. People from all over the globe travel here to witness for themselves the raw power and beauty of these spectacular waterfalls. Three separate falls make up Niagara Falls – Horseshoe, American and Bridal Veil. As water from the Niagara River rushes over these rugged cliffs, it creates a dramatic spectacle, as well as a dense cloud of mist that drenches the surrounding landscape. The thundering roar of the falls is legendary, as is the aqua color of the cascading water. The waterfalls are part of Niagara Falls State Park – America’s oldest state park. Spanning more than 400 landscaped acres, the park offers extraordinary hiking and wildlife viewing. The park also has numerous decks and vista points with breathtaking views of the falls. Those wanting a more intense experience can take the Cave of the Winds Tour, which brings visitors down to the base of the gorge and into the stormy mist. You can also take a boat tour beneath the falls on the Maid of the Mist, a tour company in operation since 1846. After a full day of exploring, you’ll be ready to rest and relax in your sweetly appointed coach. Make your camping adventure perfect by staying at the Niagara Falls/Grand Island KOA.

Also featured is an interactive kiosk linked to a 16KW solar array on the roof. The display showcases solar power generation data and information on solar technology.
